SEE Science Center

In a city renowned for its commitment to scientific innovation, the SEE Science Center aims to spark curiosity about science from an early age. Their mission is “to engage our community in the joyful, active exploration of science and innovation,” combining learning with playful discovery.

Children can take part in scientific exploration through hands-on experiences in a safe, relaxed environment. Family-friendly learning exists around every corner, with exhibitions focused on topics like the solar system, physics, chemistry, and biology. Children can go on a fossil dig in the dinosaur exhibit or discover the sounds of the ocean and the environment of marine animals in “Bubbles, the Ocean, and You.” “The Sun, Earth, Universe” exhibit, designed by the Science Museum of Minnesota and the National Informal STEM Education (NISE) Network, encourages visitors to consider common questions about our planet and what lies beyond. Whatever your child’s interest might be, endless opportunities exist for them to investigate what makes their world unique and fascinating.

The SEE Science Center hosts birthday parties and a variety of summer camps – perfect opportunities for children who love to learn and explore while having fun with their friends. Memberships are also available for frequent visitors.

The LEGO® Millyard

Recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records® as the largest permanent LEGO® installation at minifigure scale in the world, the LEGO® Millyard is a representation of Manchester’s Millyard as it might have looked in 1900, the year of its construction. Made up of more than 3 million LEGO® pieces, the miniature millyard is an inspiring example of what can be built when imagination meets dedication – using materials we touch every day.
